It's time for all of us to get our sailing gear out and get our spring
cleaning underway on our boats. Some of us have already been racing this year,
Wild Card has, but it's time to look at the bigger picture and grease the wheel
bearings on our boat trailers. The next few weeks will be intense.
Atlanta Cup 2010 March 13 & 14th 2010 the NOR is attached There will be more
than 11 boats at this regatta, mostly local, including Wild Card, Classic, and
Sassafras. Make plans, get packed and come on over. The weather will be great.
Lake Norman Yacht Club Winters Regatta. This regatta has always been windy and
well run by LNYC. Chip Till, Ron Medlin, Rob Whitley and many others will be
there. This is part of the 2010 District 8 Championship Series. Sign up now.

Easter Regatta Lake Murray April 2-4 2010 The announcement is attached and the

can see the pre-registered boats on this page. Get it in Gear and plan to be
there. When you look at all of the free recession buster items, you'll have to

As you know, we announced the District 8 Championship Series back at the first
of January. The four regattas for the series are: the Lake Norman Yacht Club
Winters Regatta, the Charleston Yacht Club Open Regatta, the J24 Invitational,
Oriental, NC, the Midlands Regatta Columbia Sailing Club. All you have to do to
register is go to our District 8 website and click on the registration link.
It's free to enter the series. Then we will look for you around the district. So
